- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★I have been a member/ customer for 10 years and have received the best service I have ever received since moving to Maryland. I have Not been treated this kindly or this well since I lived in a very small town and knew everyone that worked at the bank. On recent trips to many other cities I was easily able to access my account and money that I needed both from ATM's and participating Credit Union Partners. Suze Orman , a well known excellent financial adviser, advises using a credit union and my sister was a satisfied member prior to my joining. I am so very grateful I am a member/customer of Mid-Atlantic Federal Credit Union. Thank You MAFCU! - ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆My husband deposited his GI Bill checks into an account at MAFCU. He has been told for 2 weeks now that there is a security hold on his account and he cannot withdraw any funds or close his account. The bank could not explain the security hold and told my husband it may remain on his account for another 30 days. As a result, this is creating a financial hardship for a hard working veteran. Shame on you MAFCU. He has spent hours at the credit union these past few weeks and has gotten the run around. Terrible customer service. As soon as MAFCU removes the security hold we will be closing all accounts here and never, EVER returning.By Lauren Brown, April 19, 2017
- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆We had a business account for 9 months and we had so many is issues such as the wrong check being deposit in our account, paying the wrong check amount, business checks being withheld up to 5 days, wrongly fees charge, etc. Unfortunately, after 9 months we could not trust the Mid-Atlantic federal credit union to be our banking financial institution.By Rosa Santos, February 06, 2017
