- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Walked in to open an account and learn about their CD offers. There was a trainee filling out our applications, and the assistant manager taking her step by step. The trainer continued to yawn over and over again like she wanted to be somewhere else. When we asked about CD information, the trainer only told us to be eligible for the 12 month option we had to open a checking account. They entered the wrong information originally, and had to be corrected. We then explained that we had never opened a CD before, and wanted her to explain what they were and what our options would be. She acted put out and only briefly mentioned the two we had already spoken about. We decided to wait on the CD. My wife and I both walked out feeling like Navy Federal didn't want our money or our business. I've used USAA for years and the only reason I wanted to explore my options was their high yield CD's, but USAA has never treated me like this.By Clint Jones, December 24, 2016
